BEVERLEY NAIDOO grew up in Johannesburg. As a student she joined the resistance to Aparteid, ending up exiled in England. Her books include Journey to Jo'burg, which has just celebrated its 25th anniversary of publication, Carnegie-medal winning The Other Side of Truth, The Great Tug of War, S is for South Africa and Aesop's Fables. She lives in Bournemouth, Dorset. PIET GROBLER grew up on a farm in Limpopo, South Africa. After working as a church minister, he made a career in illustration and now lectures at the University of Worcester. His books for Frances Lincoln include Fussy Freya with Katherine Quarmby, All the Wild Wonders and A is Amazing with Wendy Cooling, The Magic Bojabi Tree with Dianne Hofmeyr, and The Great Tug of War and Aesop's Fables with Beverley Naidoo. He lives in Great Malvern, Worcestershire.
